About the role:

The Administrative Assistant, Senior Support provides comprehensive administrative services to our organization. You will support senior executives by managing office operations, handling complex tasks, and engaging in strategic communications. By ensuring efficient office management and supporting various administrative functions, you will contribute to Takeda's mission. You will report to the Senior Director Analytics and Insights.

How you will contribute:

  • Manage office supplies efficiently, ensuring all resources are available for smooth office operations

  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precision under minimal supervision

  • Input data accurately into digital systems, maintaining integrity and confidentiality of information

  • Process invoices and manage budget allocations

  • Communicate effectively over the phone, providing clear information and routing calls appropriately

  • Create and deliver engaging presentations, using strong communication skills to influence and inform audiences

  • Organize tasks and priorities effectively, ensuring timely completion of assignments

  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions, upholding our reputation and values

  • Manage time efficiently, meeting deadlines and managing workload effectively

  • Produce well-written documents, demonstrating strong writing and grammar skills

  • Participate in strategic communications, skillfully handling complex interactions with all partners

  • Provide assistance and training to lower-level employees

  • Enter contracts into LINK procurement system on behalf of A&I team

  • Coordinate issue resolution during contract processing with Procurement and Finance partners

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required. Associates degree preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

  • Strong PC literacy with strong skills in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Scientific background or knowledge of drug development preferred

  • Hybrid working arrangements require some on-site Takeda campus support (2-3 days per week) or as needed for role.

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$26.92 - $42.31

The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
