Karen Clark & Company Senior Actuary in Boston, Massachusetts
KCC seeks a fulltime Actuary in our Boston office to partner with clients to leverage catastrophe model output in underwriting, ratemaking, and risk transfer initiatives. Your responsibilities will also include fostering relationships with insurance regulators and rating agencies. In this position, you will work with KCC's interdisciplinary Client Services, Model Development and Software Development teams.

Responsibilities
Assist clients in effectively integrating catastrophe model output in ratemaking, underwriting and reinsurance purchase processes
Participate with KCC software development team in implementing insurance and reinsurance structures into financial modeling
Lead relationships with regulators, and oversee KCC responses to regulatory questions on catastrophe model output forms and in client rate filings
Participate in consulting engagements and help analyze and prepare client data and results for senior executive reports and presentations
Contribute actuarial expertise to KCC technical papers, presentations, and other documents
Qualifications
Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
ACAS required, FCAS preferred
5+ years in P&C actuarial role
Experience with data-intensive computer models
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with catastrophe models a plus
