POSITION SUMMARY: Perform accounting administration, with an emphasis on support for accounting systems and processes. RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare daily and monthly Federal Reserve reconciliation. Prepare daily and monthly reconciliations as assigned. Correspondent banking reporting and accounting. Perform Federal Reserve review for correspondent loan activity. Research. Back-up for various tasks in the department as needed. Support accounting department with audits and examinations required by the Bank, including compiling requests for the internal and external auditors. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Proficiency with core banking system High attention to accuracy and detail Accounting knowledge Strong organizational skills Associate degree or equivalent banking/accounting experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND CONDITIONS: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20lbs. Consistently operates a computer and other office equipment such as calculator, copy machine and printers. Climate controlled general office setting with moderate noise level. Must express or exchange ideas with co-workers, customers and vendors.
