The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) is seeking a Scheduler to join our Executive Bureau and core leadership team.

Primary Duties: The Scheduler is responsible for managing the Attorney General’s schedule in a way that advances the AGO mission and strategic priorities. Primary responsibilities include receiving and responding to all internal and external scheduling requests, making informed recommendations related to requests, affirmatively identifying events and scheduling opportunities, and working with the Chief of Staff and leadership team to support the Attorney General on a daily basis. Responsibilities also include making travel arrangements, maintaining the Attorney General’s call list, working with the leadership team to prepare and/or assemble briefing materials for the Attorney General, and providing othersupport to the Attorney General, as needed. Additional duties include planning and executing a variety of internal and external eventsand activities for the Office.

Position Type: Full-time/Exempt

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;

  • Experience with scheduling preferred;

  • Strong teamwork skills and commitment to public interest;

  • Excellent organizational skills and commitment to detail-oriented management and responsive communication;

  • Exceptional work ethic;

  • Strong oral and written communication skills;

  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated professionalism;

  • Ability to managetime effectively;

  • Ability to coordinate all aspects of an event, including logistics, correspondence, printed materials, etc.;

  • Facility with managing a high volume of requests and ability to prioritize accordingly;

  • Capacity to work well under pressure;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;

  • Candidates must be able to work both independently and in a team environment;

  • Candidate must be available to work nights and weekends;
