Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

Wells Fargo Commercial Capital

  • A market-leading provider of working capital, investment capital, trust services, and sales financing solutions that help customers optimize liquidity and grow their business through their lifecycle

The Sales Account Manager for Wells Fargo Commercial Capital Business Development will work with sales to manage deals from approval to funding, and engages in business projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Entering deal information into our system

  • Partnering with our Credit team to coordinate approval documents

  • Engaging the documentation team with detailed specifics on customer transactions, insuring proper contract generation

  • Collaborate across the deal team and supporting operations team to drive an excellent customer experience

  • Communicate with all levels an organization, including operations and executive levels.

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships. The successful candidate will also be able to develop an understanding of leasing and loan products offered by WFCC, specifically equipment finance.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relationship management experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong experience resolving and working through escalated and complex customer issues

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of lease and loan products, pricing, credit underwriting, and documentation processes

  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze financial metrics

  • Customer service focus with the ability to balance needs of clients, shareholders, and team members

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of equipment finance and leasing

  • Outstanding problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to form internal and external working relationships

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
