Working as a part of the Gender Multispecialty Service (GeMS) team. GeMS provides gender-affirming medical treatment and psychological consultation for transgender and gender-diverse children, adolescents, and young adults.
Direct patient care to patients and families to answer health management questions, provide injection training, care coordination and facilitate inter-visit needs such as lab and prescription support.
Physician support during procedures.
Patient and family follow-up to evaluate progress after making treatment changes.
Collaborating with a collegial group of people who are committed to the care of our patients and the wellbeing of all team members.
This is a full-time Monday to Friday position that requires satellite coverage; Four 10-hour days will be considered.
To qualify, you must have:
BSN degree
2+ years pediatric nursing experience required
Strong telephone communication
Ability to work in both Boston and Waltham locations
