The Fischer Lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a Structural and Chemical Biology Lab that combines a broad range of laboratory techniques to study the pathways and protein complexes involved in the regulation of protein homeostasis often associated with human diseases, including cancer. Using our knowledge of the cellular degradation machinery, we use structure and computational guided approaches to develop and test new molecules that hijack the ubiquitin proteasome system for targeted protein degradation.
