Wellforce Research Assistant II - Clinical/Health Services in Boston, Massachusetts
This position provides assistance in support of research, outreach, and dissemination activities under supervision of the Principal Investigator and Project Director.
Performs tasks which may require familiarity with data entry and analysis, and with communications skills.
May perform literature searches either relevant to the project(s), else in pursuit of new techniques/ideas to expand relevant basic knowledge.
Directs the project social media strategy, including posting content on a regular basis.
Coordinates HOPE work in California, Oregon, and Washington, This will include keeping up to date with changes in state programs related to childhood experiences, relationship management, preparing and adapting written materials in collaboration with agencies and organizations, and coordinating workshops and training sessions.
May be responsible for scheduling meetings or study visits, as well as calendar maintenance. Logs work performed.
May maintain and update records in accordance with IRB and sponsor requirements.
Assists with preparation of abstracts, presentations, and publications as needed.
May train other research assistants, volunteers, or students.
Attends meetings as required; typically, remotely.
Maintains collaborative, team relationships with peers and colleagues to effectively contribute to the working groups achievement of goals, and to help foster a positive work environment
Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed.
BS or equivalent.
2-4 years’ experience in related field desired but not required. An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multicultural multilingual group.
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required and the ability to learn new software as needed.
Experience with and knowledge of social media channel development, promotion and maintenance as well as interpretation of social media metrics.
Knowledge of database management a plus, but not required.
Knowledge of statistical software a plus, but not required.
Knowledge of layout and e-publishing software a plus, but not required.
Ability to prioritize quickly and appropriately.
Ability to work independently.
Care in organization and systematic record-keeping.
