We are seeking a dynamic Regional Buyer for Events & Medical Communications to join our global procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing global category strategies and collaborating with local buyers to ensure alignment with business needs. You will partner with key internal stakeholders to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive savings, all while supporting medical communication services transformations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with global and local teams to execute procurement strategies for events and medical communications.

  • Lead market analysis, RFIs/RFPs, and contract negotiations to capture market value and deliver on savings targets.

  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations, quarterly business reviews, and strategic supplier management programs.

  • Support the execution of regional category strategies, ensuring alignment with global objectives.

  • Provide regular reports on sourcing activities, savings, performance, and risks, while collaborating closely with finance partners.

  • Drive compliance with procurement policies related to risk, CSR, and audit management.

About You:

  • 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on events, medical communications, or related fields.

  • Proficiency in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

  • Knowledge of best-in-class Procurement techniques and processes

  • Consistency of focus upon delivery of outcomes and results.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to utilize tools/systems accordingly.

  • Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent priorities/projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
