If you are located in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut or New Hampshire, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. This role will travel up to 25% within the state of Massachusetts.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process provider applications and revalidation applications through verifications, credentialing, and site visits

• Accurately input enrollment data into database system

• Conduct quality assurance functions to reduce errors and improve processes and performance

• Demonstrate great depth of knowledge / skills in own function and act as a technical resource to others

• Educate and provide training to Providers on billing, prior authorization, and other administrative functions

• Investigate non-standard requests and problems

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED

• 3+ years of experience with credentialing/provider enrollment/network management/provider relations in the health care industry

• Demonstrated intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel and Word

• Currently reside within the state of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, or New Hampshire

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for conducting site visits within the state of Massachusetts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Comfortable learning and using different computer programs such as Salesforce and MMIS

• Exceptional oral communication skills

• Ability to work independently and with a team

• Proven understanding and successful at meeting deadlines that comes with job tasks

• Demonstrated ability to develop written correspondence to providers

• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
