Robert Half Project Manager: III (Senior)- in Boston, Massachusetts

Major responsibilities

  • Aids to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

  • Offers detailed reporting to management on milestone completion, project status, and risk assessments

  • Enhances the daily stand-ups, making sure they are brief, focused, and timely

  • Brings together figures from business analysts, QA leads, and technical leads into recommendations

  • Colludes and communicates with stakeholders, developers, technical team members and designers

  • Help the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

  • Works as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - clearing obstacles, leading scrum ceremonies, and ensuring the team is working effectively

  • Creates schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product

  • Cooperates with Product Owner/Product Manager to assure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are evident and realistic

  • Help out with classifying, identifying, and managing risk for functional improvement requests

  • Work together to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap with the Product Owner/Product Manager

  • Ensures that the functional requirements are tracked, achievable, and met

  • Plots and conducts the sprint planning and grooming meetings and tracks ticket assignments

  • Follows and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

  • Directs project planning

  • Confirms the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

  • Creates project with correct ticket workflows and boards

  • Work in close partnership with the Business Analyst, QA Manager, Product Specialist, and Product Owner/Product Manager

  • Engages with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

  • Manages deployment scheduling in coordination with Product Owner, tech lead and Dev Ops Requirements - Demonstrated ability to lead medium to large custom and/or complex software development and/or implementation projects

  • Skilled in utilizing resource tools to manage capacity, forecast, demand and allocation of people

  • Experience managing complex cross-functional and technology projects

  • Technical experience including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.) and JIRA or similar application

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels of the organization

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of education and work experience

  • Knowledge of Agile delivery teams, projects and programs Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
