Prolifics Program Manager in United States

Overview

Position Overview:

The Director Delivery Excellence role requires experience in managing large scale, complex technology projects. They will interact directly with clients and consultants daily. The succesful candidate will ensure that deliverables defined in contracted Statement of Work (SOW) are completed on time, on budget and with agreed quality. They will personally initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and close project scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communications, risk, procurement and stakeholder interaction.Being a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of project management methodologies is paramount to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.

  • Monitor and track project progress, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

  • Full Lifecycle Development:

  • Manage full lifecycle development projects from initiation through delivery and support.

  • Ensure all phases of the project lifecycle are properly managed, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Methodology Implementation:

  • Utilize project execution methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile to manage projects.

  • Adapt and implement the appropriate methodology based on project requirements and organizational environment.

  • Scope and Timeline Control:

  • Control project scope and manage project timelines to prevent scope creep and ensure timely delivery.

  • Implement effective change management processes to handle scope changes and ensure stakeholder alignment.

  • Team Leadership and Coordination:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.

  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing clear instructions and guidance.

  • Foster a positive team environment and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise.

  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports on project status.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between project goals and business objectives.

  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review project progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification preferred.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management within an IT Consulting environment.

  • Proven track record of delivering full lifecycle development projects from initiation to completion.

  • Strong understanding of project execution methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.

  • Experience in managing project scope and timelines effectively.

  • Experience working in a similar environment to ours, [specify industry or company environment].

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
