Private Equity Accountant

Our client, a very well-established and stable private equity firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant (Funds side) to join their team. This person will report directly to the VP Finance. This client expects employees to be in-office on a hybrid basis, typically 2 days/week in office, however, they do offer some flexibility.

The role will include:

• fund general ledgers, financial statements, analysis

• capital call and distribution package preparations

• related reporting to Limited Partners.

• alternative investment vehicles and trial balances

• treasury, cash management and banking, including related legal documentation in some cases

• assist with the year-end audit process for the private equity funds

  Requirements

Preferred profile:

• 1+ yrs. of public Audit or Tax experience – Top 7 preferred.

• OR someone 1+ yrs. at an Asset Mgmt. / Fund experience

• Hungry to learn is a must

• Advanced Excel is a key

• CPA preferred
