Citizens Private Bank has accelerated its strategy to build out Wealth Management, scale Business Banking, grow deposits, and expand in key growth markets. We are looking for talented individuals with a demonstrated track record of delivering a gold glove experience to clients that results in long-term client loyalty.

The Private Bank Lending Associate supports the Relationship Manager’s loan pipeline with extraordinary care and service. The Lending associate works in primarily operational and processing capacities.

Primary responsibilities include

• Inputs and processes loan in the system, including locking rates, ordering appraisal, title, and collateral, uploading documents to the loan operating system, ordering insurance, and clearing closing condition

• Manages end-to-end loan process with clients, internal/external partners from inquiry through post-closing (e.g. presents loan to Credit Officer for approval, locks & submits loans, collects conditions, assists with closing coordination and any post-closing requests).

• Prepares the loan file for approval and closing, and monitors the pipeline to ensure loan workflow is efficient and they are meeting closing deadlines.

• Maintains a high level of quality control for verifying accuracy of financial and loan documents.

• Knowledge of Private Banking credit policy, lending origination systems, and regulatory requirements involved in residential and/or commercial real estate/multi-family lending.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mortgage processing in a banking organization preferred

• Bachelors degree preferred

• Past experience with Epic or Empower software is a plus

• Analyzing income and cash flow statements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong analytical and underwriting knowledge

• Excellent computer skills and strong working knowledge of MS Word / MS Outlook / MS PowerPoint/ MS Excel.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level degree of confidentiality

  Hours

  Monday - Friday - 40 hours
