Pega is changing the way the world builds software. In this role, you'll work with a diverse team of product managers, developers, and designers to help shape the experience across Pega’s SAAS products and digital experiences. Our team works on diverse, cutting-edge projects involving everything from Generative AI to Decoupled Drupal to advanced test automation and continuous integration.

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Build and code enterprise-class SAAS products and web based applications using Drupal

  • Resolve complex issues reported on existing production systems

  • Create both decoupled, single page and traditional web applications powered by Drupal

  • Collaborate extensively with our front-end team at every stage of development

  • Partner with other IT teams to seamlessly integrate web sites with Pega’s enterprise systems

  • Work with the test automation and UX team to implement continuous regression test suites

  • Learn development best practices via training and peer programming

  • Build tools and processes to enhance the team’s workflow

  • Craft documentation for system implementors and consumers

  • Communicate effectively with project managers, product owners, and development team members to facilitate understanding of deliverables, estimates, and prioritization.

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate should be an intelligent, motivated, and accomplished web developer with a track record of building state-of-the-art, scalable, extensible, and feature-rich websites. Among the qualities we’d be looking for:

  • Strong technical skills and a tenacious approach to problem solving

  • Passion for learning, applying and sharing new technologies

  • A commitment to collaboration and teamwork in all facets of development

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

What You've Accomplished:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years PHP/SQL development experience with a content management system

  • 2+ of Drupal experience

  • 2+ years experience with git, SSH and command line

  • 2+ years experience with agile software development and Scrum
