Microsoft Corporation Principal PM Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

The FastTrack team is looking for managers to lead a team of Modern Workplace Architects (MWAs) in the Healthcare vertical that specialize in helping enterprise customers deploy the Microsoft 365 suite aligned by three Modern Workplace solution areas: (1) Secure Remote Work to improve productivity (2) Security and Compliance and (3) Modern Management. In partnership with the Microsoft field sales and services teams (STU, ATU, M&O, Services), this role helps customers transform their business and IT environments through adoption and usage of Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead a team of Modern Workplace Architects and work closely with enterprise customers across Healthcare payers, providers, and life sciences to provide technical deployment guidance and best practices, design their migration and upgrade plans, overcome hesitancy and delay and gain commitment from the customer to move forward with those plans. They will then ensure FastTrack scale resources and Partners deliver that plan with the customer and resolve any escalations or delays. They will be the FastTrack point of contact for their assigned Sales Area coordinating FastTrack resources with the field, ensuring FastTrack readiness, and providing a central escalation point for their Area.

This role will be measured based on building and leading an inclusive high-performance team, cross team collaboration, and achieving FY21 adoption and revenue targets of Microsoft 365 services. The Modern Workplace Architect Manager will also champion the vision and strategy for Microsoft 365 and the FastTrack Center consistently engaging with customers, partners, and field personnel to ensure accelerated deployment, revenue growth and transformation.

Qualifications

This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic and critical thinking as well as technical expertise on Microsoft 365 deployment and products. Successful candidates must be great with customers and demonstrate outstanding cross-group collaboration. This role also requires experience in dealing with both technical and business senior leaders and what’s in and out of scope for the FastTrack Center.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a senior technical resource with regular customer interactions required

  • Technical knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite (LEVEL 200 across suite) required

  • 2 to 3 years of Deployment Experience on Microsoft 365 with Enterprise customers required

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to explain Modern Work technical vision, roadmap, key solutions, and technical architectures required

  • Great customer facing skills including the ability to rapidly establish and maintain personal and organizational credibility with Customers and Partners through deep delivery knowledge and effective communications required

  • Proven track record delivering on team revenue or usage targets required

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with field and product teams to ensure customer success required

  • Expertise and ability to explain key solutions and technical architectures in Microsoft 365 and associated technologies required

  • Superior communication and consultation skills required

  • Growth mindset: drive to stay up to date with changes to enterprise technology required

  • Enterprise-scale experience in healthcare with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management preferred

  • Knowledge of how to work with Microsoft Field teams and Partners in landing the Microsoft 365 platform with customers preferred

  • Bachelor or advanced degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent work experience preferred

Location: US – East or Central Time zone preferred
