Field and Partner Learning Overview

The Field and Partner Learning team was established to provide Red Hat field associates and partners with the skills and knowledge to confidently meet the needs of our customers through prioritized and engaging learning experiences that support Red Hat’s strategic priorities and are tied to the customer journey. To do this, we partner closely with leaders across the Global Sales organization to develop and drive enablement strategies and programs to ensure our sales, technical sales, services, and partner teams have consistent skill baselines that help them drive consistent and quality customer interactions.

Role Summary

As a Principal Learning Experience Manager (LXM), you'll partner with business stakeholders on enablement initiatives that contribute to the success of long-term business strategies and revenue goals aligned to Sales and Revenue functions. In this role, you'll be seen as a learning ambassador, a domain SME and will orchestrate a cross-functional team of people focused on enablement vision and innovation resulting in engaging and impactful learning experiences for targeted learning audiences. The enablement programs you'll be aligned with can be highly complex and will require building strong influence and networks across the functions.

What you will do

  • Partner with stakeholders and leaders aligned to Sales and Revenue functions to guide, influence, develop and execute strategic enablement initiatives to advance the learning and agenda for sales excellence enablement programs (e.g. sales skills, sales processes, sales platforms and tools, etc.)

  • Make decisions that significantly impact the direction of program objectives, directly influencing the function's achievement of medium to long-term results and strategy

  • Act as the primary liaison and owner of enablement programs, serving as the point of contact for leadership, stakeholders, subject matter experts and other teams

  • Provide expert consultation on crafting learning experiences tailored to meet the specific business requirements within your designated portfolio

  • Drive vision and innovation in learning and enablement initiatives, determining the best learning experiences and methodologies to be used on assignments with cross-functional impact, while identifying and leveraging emerging technologies and digital learning strategies to enhance the effectiveness and scalability of learning experiences

  • Engage with leadership and stakeholders to provide updates on program status, seek guidance on strategic decisions, and advocate for program support and resources

  • Ensure that program and project deliverables meet team standards and are delivered on time, optimizing quality and effectiveness

  • Exercise independent judgment and business acumen to work on and resolve highly complex issues that impact the success of critical projects, valuable relationships, and key business processes

  • Develop formal networks across Red Hat to influence priorities and objectives both internally and with partners, consistently reinforcing a "Red Hat" mindset

What you will bring

  • 12 years or more of related professional experience in learning and development, project management, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading large, complex programs

  • Domain subject matter expert for sales excellence (e.g. sales skills, sales processes, sales platforms and tools, etc.)

  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse, global, cross-functional team

  • Orchestrate and help develop engaging learning experiences - leverage instructional design principles

  • Experience with stakeholder management and building relationships

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent influence, facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills

The salary range for this position is $116,640.00 - $192,390.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
