This role is responsible for managing the pre-employment process for BioLife external new hire candidates, daily responsibilities may include: + Create new hire logs weekly to monitor and document the tracking of new hire external candidates for BioLife Recruiters. + Handle an extremely high volume of daily phone calls and emails to new hire candidates, Hiring Managers and Recruiters regarding the pre-employment process. + Counsel applicants as needed on the pre-employment process as it pertains to the background check and drug screen testing. + Contact new hire applicants as necessary to facilitate and resolve issues identified during the pre-employment background check process. + Copy the Plasma Center Hiring Manager Teams and Recruiters on all email communications sent to new hire candidates throughout the process so they are aware of their candidates’ status and any issues that may impact the candidates scheduled start date. + Point of contact and manage background check vendor questions, relationships, through consistent meetings and feedback sessions. + Point of contact for candidates from offer to start date throughout the background check process. + Point of contact for hiring teams, address any issues or concerns throughout the pre employment process. + Initiate background check process for candidates in offer stage + Follow through background check process + Academic / E ducational documentation collection and review + Background check review, and escalation as appropriate + Pre-employment Drug Testing function + SSN Trouble shooting + Process start date change notifications. + Process all rescinded and declined job offer notifications. + Make recommendations to Hiring Managers, Business HR, Recruiters and necessary on approving or rescinding job offers. + Update and maintain Rescinded Job Offers Log. + Review and update personal information in Workday for each new hire candidate before moving them to Ready for Hire status. + Submit requests for translation of foreign academic documentation as required. + Submit and track requests for US equivalency verification as required. + Follow up on all Contingent start cases to ensure pending issues have been resolved. Take action on cases with unresolved issues. + Interface with Talent Acquisition team consistently + Provide on-going support to team members regarding the background check process.
