Insight Global People Data Engineer in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

Are you a talented People Data Engineer looking for their next role? We are seeking People Data Engineers to join our team & leverage data to drive our people strategies & improve employee experiences. This Data Engineer will work within our clients internal systems (Workday & Greenhouse) to fix preexisting data, while bringing new data sources in to implement.

Compensation:

$49/hr to $69/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Primary Responsibilities:

  Design, Develop & Maintain data pipelines & ETL processes to collect, process & Store people related Data

  Build & Optimize data models to support analytics & reporting needs

  Ensure data security & compliance with relevant regulations & company policies

  Troubleshoot & resolve Data-related issues & discrepancies

Continuously improve data processes & systems to enhance efficiency & accuracy

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves

 - 5+ years of experience working as a people Data Engineer

 - Experience working with internal HR systems such as Workday & Greenhouse

 - Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL Processes & Data Warehousing

 - Excellent Problem-solving skills & attention to detail

 - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

 - Extensive experience with Data visualization tools; Tableau, Power BI

 - Strong experience working with Snowflake & ETL

 - Experience building reporting specialized to HR and People Ops orgs (preferably Tableau)

 - Experience writing proprietary integrations in Python and using Airflow as an orchestration tool Plusses:

Experience & Ability to work with DBT (Data Build Tool) null
