Humana PCO Provider Liaison in Boston, Massachusetts

The Provider Liaison strengthens engagement and facilitates a positive experience for PCO providers and provider hiring leaders through the preboarding and onboarding process. Work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationship with new provider from offer accepted through start date (preboarding)

  • Act as single point-of-contact (POC) for new provider and provider hiring leader in order to provide white glove experience

  • Send New Provider Welcome/Intro Email and Text; introduce as single POC and establish working relationship; copy associate market team

  • Reach out to provider hiring leader to introduce as single POC and outline responsibilities of different parties (center and market admin, concierge, etc.)

  • Review Workday New Hire Report; compare new hire report to new provider tracker for accuracy

  • Participate in Weekly New Provider Onboarding Prep Meeting; provide preboarding status updates (background/drug screen, new hire Workday tasks for provider and provider hiring leader)

  • Monitor new provider and provider hiring leader preboarding tasks

  • Help resolve preboarding issues for new provider and provider hiring leader; escalating when needed

  • Submit request for new provider access profile based on provisioning matrix

  • Submit new provider request for equipment based on market and role

  • Facilitate New Provider Onboarding Prep Meeting with market; include hiring leader, center and market admins, and others per market discretion

  • Participate in Monthly Provider Onboarding Committee Meeting; provide support when needed

  • Gather and send out day 1 details/onboarding schedule to new provider (New Provider Day 1 Details Email)

  • Understand the preboarding process and how it relates to collaborating departments and the business

  • Provide support and backup for other team members when needed

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in provider relations/recruitment, practice management, provider contracting, clinical operations or related experience

  • Demonstrated Emotional Intelligence

  • Demonstrated independent decision making

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to diffuse conflict providing resolutions

  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Working experience with navigating complex, matrixed work environments

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office and visual platforms

  • Flexible, dependable, and available to accommodate provider's schedule, e.g. before/after regular business hours and weekends. This role is standard business hours nationwide, could be flexible based on time zones and business need.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, health care, or equivalent experience

  • Experience with Workday

Work-At-Home Requirements:

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$52,500 - $72,300 per year
