Seniorlink/Caregiver Homes Payroll Coordinator-Hybrid in Boston, Massachusetts
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Coordinator is responsible for assisting in all day-to-day payroll activities and related functions, providing the highest level of service, accuracy and reliability. This position will work closely with the People & Culture and Accounts Payables teams on compliance, wage and hour laws, benefits administration and reporting. This individual will also assist the Controller and Asst Controller with various projects.
Prepare bi-weekly payroll timely and accurately for employee population across multiple states and entities
Obtain, verify and process payroll changes in collaboration with People & Culture team
Provide timely customer service and resolution on employee inquiries and payroll or tax discrepancies
Maintain payroll, tax and withholdings schedules and perform periodic reconciliation
Assist with payroll related tax filings utilizing payroll system
Assist in all payroll related audits
Maintain employee records in our expense reimbursement and accounting systems
Perform other related duties as required or assigned
Associates Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
2+ years’ payroll processing experience, preferably multi-state and multiple entity/cycle payrolls
Basic knowledge and understanding of FLSA and Federal, State and local payroll taxes, as well as FUTA and SUTA
Experience with ADP payroll system preferred; Knowledge of Great Plains and SAP Concur is a plus
Tech-savvy, with high proficiency in MS office and exceptional Excel skills
Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills with acute attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
