Seniorlink/Caregiver Homes Payroll Coordinator-Hybrid in Boston, Massachusetts

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Coordinator is responsible for assisting in all day-to-day payroll activities and related functions, providing the highest level of service, accuracy and reliability. This position will work closely with the People & Culture and Accounts Payables teams on compliance, wage and hour laws, benefits administration and reporting. This individual will also assist the Controller and Asst Controller with various projects.

  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll timely and accurately for employee population across multiple states and entities

  • Obtain, verify and process payroll changes in collaboration with People & Culture team

  • Provide timely customer service and resolution on employee inquiries and payroll or tax discrepancies

  • Maintain payroll, tax and withholdings schedules and perform periodic reconciliation

  • Assist with payroll related tax filings utilizing payroll system

  • Assist in all payroll related audits

  • Maintain employee records in our expense reimbursement and accounting systems

  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years’ payroll processing experience, preferably multi-state and multiple entity/cycle payrolls

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of FLSA and Federal, State and local payroll taxes, as well as FUTA and SUTA

  • Experience with ADP payroll system preferred; Knowledge of Great Plains and SAP Concur is a plus

  • Tech-savvy, with high proficiency in MS office and exceptional Excel skills

  • Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills with acute attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
