Boston University Part-Time Lecturer, Aggregate Litigation, Boston University School of Law in BOSTON, Massachusetts

Boston University School of Law is seeking to hire a part-time lecturer to teach Aggregate Litigation during the 2024-25 academic year and possibly thereafter. The instructor is free to design an appropriate course. However, the course should include a thorough consideration of the law of class actions and other forms of aggregate litigation, including multidistrict litigation. Topics should include class certification, class settlement and other forms of settlement, the coordination of aggregate litigation, aggregation and arbitration, etc. Substantive areas could include products liability, securities, employment and consumer litigation, mass torts, ERISA, etc.

Required Skills

A JD degree, plus an expertise in aggregate litigation, are required. Prior law school teaching experience is preferred.
