Commonwealth Care Alliance Organizational Development & Learning Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Why This Role is Important to Us:

Under the direction of the Director, HR Projects, the Organizational Development & Learning Manager will be a key player in actively transforming the employee experience at Commonwealth Care Alliance. This essential role will actively engage in building and delivering best-in-class learning experiences across the employee lifecycle for employees at every level in the organization. The manager will plan, develop, facilitate, and manage a wide variety of learning programs including New Employee Orientation (NEO), Management Skills and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training. The OD&L manager will lead with an innovative mindset and forward-thinking approach to learning design and facilitation. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Researches, effectively designs, develops, and continuously refines customized training content in multiple modalities (blended, virtual instructor-led, e-learning, guides, and resource materials).

  • Conducts needs assessments and translates results into creative and comprehensive learning solutions or support.

  • Develop project plans and milestones, monitor and communicate project status, and identify and resolve issues related to learning programs.

  • Translates complex content into relevant business terms using simple language.

  • Creates, edits, and incorporates resource materials (e.g., guides, toolkits, etc.) to support assigned programs.

  • Facilitates or co-facilitates learning and development programs, onboarding, and team effectiveness activities.

  • Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts and business owners to prepare and implement company-wide talent development, learning initiatives.

  • Employs a consultative approach, attentive to the requested outcomes and results.

  • Designs using innovative techniques to ensure sustained learner engagement and skills application.

  • Experience developing/supporting DEI efforts across learning and development programs.

  • Supports New Employee Orientation (NEO) for all new employees and other programs as assigned.

  • Prioritizes work by proactively calibrating organizational needs as they shift with demand.

  • Collaborates effectively around shared goals.

  • Demonstrates ease in adjusting facilitation style to any level -- including executive level -- audiences.

  • Supports administrative tasks associated with program design needs.

What We're Looking For:

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years' experience designing and delivering learning programs.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience working in healthcare or non-profit human services organizations.

  • Experience supporting multiple programs and team members to execute on team objectives.

  • DEI program facilitation/design experience highly desired.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to actively collaborate and build relationships with HR, Leadership and Employees.

  • Creative instructional design and development capabilities, including coursework, blended and e-learning, job aids, and assessments.

  • Exceptional facilitation and training delivery skills.

  • Possess excellent skill and instinct at employing a variety of communication techniques

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, and strong attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational skills and problem identification and solutioning skills.

  • Operates effectively and with agility in a face-paced environment.

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft suite of tools.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro
