Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Autonomous DB Cloud Oracle Database Security admin Exadata DB Administration Oracle Golden Gate Oracle Performance Tuning Shell scripting Oracle DataGuard SQL RAC ASM Oracle Enterprise Manager Oracle Database Administration and Unix. The role involves working in a hybrid model with a focus on research and development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle Autonomous DB Cloud solutions to meet business requirements.

• Oversee Oracle Database Security administration to ensure data integrity and security.

• Manage Exadata DB Administration tasks to optimize database performance and reliability.

• Utilize Oracle Golden Gate for data replication and integration across systems.

• Perform Oracle Performance Tuning to enhance database efficiency and response times.

• Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation and process improvement.

• Implement and manage Oracle DataGuard for disaster recovery and high availability.

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.

• Administer RAC (Real Application Cluster) to ensure database scalability and availability.

• Configure and manage ASM (Automatic Storage Management) for efficient storage utilization.

• Use Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM) for comprehensive database monitoring and management.

• Perform Oracle Database Administration tasks to ensure smooth operation and maintenance.

• Work with Unix systems to support database operations and integration.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in Oracle Autonomous DB Cloud and Oracle Database Security admin.

• Demonstrate expertise in Exadata DB Administration and Oracle Golden Gate.

• Have extensive experience in Oracle Performance Tuning and Shell scripting.

• Show proficiency in Oracle DataGuard SQL and RAC.

• Be skilled in ASM and Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM).

• Have a solid understanding of Oracle Database Administration and Unix.

• Experience in research and development within the technology domain.

• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Proven track record of successful project delivery.

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000/Year to $150,000/Year depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
