Marketing Specialist, Sponsorship Programs

As a result of our exciting growth KNect365, an informa company, is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our Life Sciences team. As Marketing Specialist, you will manage comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote sponsorship and advertising opportunities leveraging a vast portfolio of digital and face-to-face audiences in the biotech industry. You’ll work closely with marketing, product, and sales to identify opportunities, then manage projects through cross-functional teams to deliver qualified leads and high-impact collateral. By helping our clients reach their lead-generation, thought leadership, and branding objectives you’ll facilitate the connections and partnerships that drive the life sciences ecosystem.

As Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Create and execute digital marketing campaigns to generate leads and awareness for sponsorship programs

  • Work with cross-functional teams to create and update brochures, flyers, landing pages, and websites

  • Write engaging copy for email, social media, press releases, testimonials, landing pages, and collateral

  • Manage targeted email campaigns from start to finish, leveraging Adestra

  • Collaborate with sales team to keep marketing and sales activities closely aligned

  • Interface with clients to gather feedback and deliverables for special programs

  • Leverage Salesforce.com to track campaign results and report on revenue outcomes

  • Provide sales team with timely reports and custom campaigns to support their revenue generation efforts

  • Track results of digital campaigns and perform testing for continual improvement

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Entry level with 1-2 years of experience managing or supporting marketing campaigns (internships count!)

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

  • Interest in business, science, and technology

  • Superior detail orientation, with a tenacious approach to solving problems and figuring things out

  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Email marketing platform knowledge and a basic understanding of HTML

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (MBA is a plus)
