We are looking for a self-driven, results-orientated person with a positive outlook as a Full-Time Marketing Assistant. This role will provide administrative support for the Marketing Team. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, this individual will ensure department-wide administration needs are met as described below. This role will have the opportunity to interact with the Marketing, Research and Business Development teams helping to facilitate cross-department collaboration. The successful candidate has strong communication and organizational skills and is comfortable working independently, multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on position for an energetic self-starter. Maturity and the ability to operate calmly and professionally in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

  • Support Director of Marketing with various projects

  • Use SourceScrub, DataFox, ZoomInfo and other databases to find and research names, emails, addresses and other company data for specific marketing campaigns

  • Update spreadsheets, databases and contact lists with statistical, financial and non-financial information as needed

  • Assist with proofreading marketing materials for brand, style and content edits

  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)

  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns to facilitate their success

  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts

  • Assist in the development of marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market

  • Collate documentation and information for use in meetings and events

  • Organize and attend meetings and may act as recorder of proceedings. Coordinate follow-up actions.

  • Identify Public Relations opportunities for industry teams

  • Assist with CRM Management (DealCloud)

  • Help maintain any document libraries of collateral, including shared folders, team intranet and online portal

  • Work autonomously, with necessary guidance on projects to support marketing team as requested

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Marketing or Communications or

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in marketing or communications or previous experience preferred

  • Familiarity with marketing automation software required; Experience with Marketo a plus

  • Experience with website editing and social media a plus

  • Excellent grammar and communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized and process management skills to manage a wide range of incoming requests and responsibilities

  • Editing or proofreading experience

  • High degree of proficiency with all MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Professional demeanor and team player
