Delaware North Marketing and Communications Specialist, TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts

The Opportunity

The Marketing and Communications Specialist is a dual support for paid and organic branding/advertising opportunities to support all TD Garden business lines served by the strategy and marketing business operations team. This role will serve as primary promoter contact, acting as agency conduit to ‘clients’ and be responsible for day to day tasks supporting brand and sales for shows/events (both ticketed and charitable/community), content, media contact lists, asset management and vendor contacts.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $47100 - $61200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities

  • Work closely the Strategic Marketing Manager to place advertising buys, traffic vendor orders, schedule emails, create Insiders content and copy.

  • Supports the Communications Manager for comms and content to support overall marcomms content calendar.

  • Ideate and execute with team on brand collaborations, content and campaigns for TD Garden and Boston Garden Society and other related business lines.

  • Create short form content pieces for TD Garden social platforms.

  • Traffic marketing assets with creative team.

  • Serve as primary promoter contact for concerts, events and special shows.

  • Provide community programming and charity event support.

  • Assist in budget management for department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital Media or related field.

  • 3-5 years of marketing, communications or related field experience.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

  • Prior experience with Salesforce, Tableau, TM1.

  • Proficiency of editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Photo shop.

  • Ability and willingness work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Willingness to learn and develop skills, with a focus on content creation through video and visual assets.

  • Passion for storytelling and creating compelling content with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to be successful under pressure, lead and work effectively on multiple concurrent projects, sometimes under tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of ice hockey, basketball, live entertainment and sports is preferred.
