The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical and behavioral skills to thrive in an engineering environment. You will perform a critical support role in assisting engineering and manufacturing function by helping in product quality, cost and process improvements in delivery workstream. Perhaps most importantly, you will help our customers deliver high quality products on time. How? Ensure that component producibility, testability, and serviceability aspects are met on rotating, structures & composites parts.
Track and manage complete manufacturing process and special process requirements for parts.
Work with design teams and understating of specs to develop manufacturing process on hardware.
Support Should costing and producibility initiatives.
Coordinate and support manufacturing process planning and optimization to meet delivery of product.
Familiarity with various manufacturing techniques and their application during component assembly.
Familiar with Gas Turbine Materials, Tooling, Protective Treatments, Coatings and Heat Treatments.
Sound knowledge of raw materials planning, cleaning and inspection best practices.
Support supply chain & manufacturing on shop process & quality improvements.
Communicate manufacturing expectations and priorities with existing and potential suppliers.
Define and maintain engineering to supply chain interface communications, such as
Track configuration management changes and proactively coordinate with shops.
Work with Fulfillment, Design Engineering, Quality, and other sourcing functions to improve on time delivery & quality of parts.
Manage consistent operational excellence on the assigned Parts (i.e. metrics, partner interaction, OTD, Cost and responsiveness).
Provide inputs supporting evaluation and improvement of processes, tools, and methodologies & ensure best practices are used throughout the company.

BS or associate degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 6+ years of value process engineering, quality or manufacturing experience)
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in process engineering in aerospace industry
US Citizen or Permanent Resident required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work under time constraints, maintain composure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Organized and self-motivated.
You have a continuous improvement mindset and are always seeking ways to do things better and faster without compromising quality.
Like to work in a fast paced, creative environment without a lot of management oversight. You are independent and forward facing.
