Wayfair Manager, Talent Relations in Boston, Massachusetts

<p><strong>Manager, Talent Relations&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p><strong>Please note, this position will require working onsite at our Back Bay, Boston, MA (no opportunity for remote once offices reopen)</strong></p>

As an influential and integral member of the Talent Management team, you will be tasked with providing strategic input, insight and advice with respect to employee relations, coaching and development, performance management, conflict management, organizational change and more. As a Talent Relations Partner, you will play an instrumental role in driving people and business initiatives. <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Establish strategic partnerships and support business units on employee relations concerns, performance management initiatives and change management practices</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Advise and consult employees and leaders in the resolution of employee relations matters by partnering with employees and leaders, interpreting and administering policies, and recommending effective, scalable solutions for addressing workplace issues.&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Conduct workplace investigations, provide accurate and thorough responses to concerns and determine expedient solutions to ensure fairness and legal compliance.&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Acts as a subject matter expert to provide strategic coaching to management of all levels on addressing a variety of people issues while effectively mitigating business and company risk.&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead department specific and org wide strategic initiatives, soliciting buy in, partnering with cross-functional partners and driving scalable solutions.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Partner with Learning &amp; Development and Culture &amp; Inclusion teams to provide developmental training and coaching on employee relations techniques, corrective action and documentation, and performance management best practices to support continuous professional development and drive manager enablement.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage offboarding processes and provide regular strategic insights to the business to aid in retention and employee satisfaction.&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Analyze data to identify trends, provide insights and make recommendations to stakeholders and cross-functional partners to develop scalable solutions, programs and policies to improve the employee experience.</span></li>




<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">3-5 experience in Human Resources/Talent Management required; 2+ years specifically in Employee Relations, Workplace Investigations, Compliance or a scope of similar work highly preferred&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with Workday or other HRIS system is a plus</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong organizational skills &amp; attention to detail</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to act with a high degree of integrity, professionalism and maintain a high level of confidentiality when required&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to prioritize responsibilities and take ownership of projects</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to use independent judgment, problem-solve, be creative and answer questions</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Resourceful and results-oriented attitude</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong analytical skills, ability to mine various HR/ People data and experience with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to build productive relationships and partner with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to manage caseload, and prioritize bandwidth based on priority and risk to the business&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience</span></li>


<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>


<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">aPHR/PHR, SHRM-CP, AWI-CH, Professional Certified Investigator(PCI) or similar recognized credential within Human Resources or Employee Relations&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proficiency with an HRIS and case management system such as ServiceNow, HR Acuity, NAVEX Global, etc.&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proficient knowledge or familiarity with employment laws of at least one U.S. state and experience with the ADA, ADEA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act </span></li>
