  • We are open to candidates throughout the continental United States. If the candidate is within 50 miles of Pittsburgh, PA, Camp Hill, PA or Buffalo, NY, the position would be hybrid with 3 days on-site. Anyone outside of the 50-mile radius would be remote with periodic travel to a corporate location.

This job will play a critical role in transforming the finance organization and will be responsible not only for oversight and management of the EPM System Administration team, but also play a pivotal role in implementing new EPM solutions across the organization. The incumbent will have a solid foundation on both the technical and functional aspects of the EPM solution and will be the go to person for all questions regarding end to end EPM solutions. This job leads the support of one or more analytical aspects of the application product life cycle, including capability enablement with cross-team dependencies within a product scope, uses significant independent judgement and discretion to collaborate with customers on the most complex issues, understands capability needs, translates high-level business needs into complex detailed design for new capabilities (and change request/enhancements on existing capabilities), and identifies opportunities for process improvements. The incumbent will oversee the creation and execution of test plans, corrective action plans, conduct root cause analysis, and verify customers needs are met through quality delivery. This job uses functional and organizational knowledge to lead others, and may actively participate as a SME on complex projects (cross functional, with potential regulatory risk exposure, customer & financial impacts). The incumbent resolves the most complex issues (which may involve multiple systems) and/or develops alternative solutions while understanding and mitigating risks and impact. The incumbent is a subject matter expert on how the most complex new enhancement/applications are developed using an expert level of understanding of end-to-end processes and potential integration issues. This job requires expert level understanding of the end system's impact of changes across enterprise-wide systems.


  • Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.

  • Management of system administration team of the EPM application. Act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively. Assist team on troubleshooting the larger complicated issues and serve as the point of contact for Oracle SR escalations with EPM. Identify and implement Oracle EPM best practices.

  • Oversee production support as required to maintain the overall EPM production environment.Manage Data Load process and Forms.

  • Act as the liaison between technical teams, business functions and system integrators to drive progress as we implement new functionality. Manage engagement deliverables that include documented Financial Planning & Analysis processes, reports and EPM solutions designs.

  • Assist with solution design analysis, solution architecture assessment and roadmap creation for finance planning, consolidation, and analytics.

  • Monitor financial systems improvement opportunities (efficiency, cost reductions, consolidations, improved integrations).

  • Assure compliance for required standards and all necessary approvals have been obtained throughout the project lifecycle.Seek to standardize processes where possible.

  • Communicate in an exemplary manner with team members, customers, partners and management, including assisting with or conducting design walkthroughs and sprint reviews, enabling vendor solutions and providing accurate and concise documentation.Own relationships with critical internal stakeholders - ERP, IT, Operations, etc.

  • Mentor and provide guidance and education to business functional users and team

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business or closely related field

  • 7 years of experience with Oracle EPM products - Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) or Financial Consolidations and Close (FCC).

  • 7 years of experience in designing, building or implementing technical solutionsOR accounting, finance, business analyst experience.

  • 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.


  • Health care or health insurance industry experience

  • Oracle EPM certification


  • Deep knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud Application Development and Support – Planning, PBCS, FCC, ARCS, Ent Report, Tax Reporting, EDM including leading multiple system implementations for Oracle EPM

  • Ability to define and lead EPM strategy, inspire change, provide subject matter expertise on Oracle EPM best practices and identify areas to improve performance of EPM applications

  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle Process and Project Management Lifecycle

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present to leadership and articulate both business and technical information

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong technical competenecy in an evolving environment - ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapid, fast changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture. Ability to create applications, design dimensions , set-up formulas and complex business rules.

  • Business Acumen - understand business needs, understand financial processes (budget, forecast, plan and close), maintain strong cross-functional relationships, merge business and technical knowledge to identify potential business cases for evolving technologies.

  • Strong SQL & OLAP skills as well as architecture experience
