Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and energized Key Account Manager who would like to help us connect more children and adults to one of the world's most loved brands.

We have an exciting opportunity for a vital role on our Target team, dedicated to cultivating relationships, ensuring business needs are met and flawless execution is delivered. Core Responsibilities

  • Promotional strategy and planning

  • Owns relationship with Target Toys Associate Buyer

  • Promotional Analysis & Effectiveness Optimization (Sell-through, ROI/ROO, Lift, etc.)

  • Space Productivity & Optimization (out of aisle features)

  • Locked volume inventory planning for promotions and out of aisle features

  • Industry data analysis and insight generation

  • Integrated Commercial Plan co-ownership

  • Strategic Audience Planning and execution

  • Identify and present exciting and relevant sales-driving insights from non-traditional data sources

  • Licensed & Extended Line relationship owner, inclusive of key joint-product pitches to Target Sr. Buyer

  • Trade Promotion Management system inputs lead

  • Lead collaboration with key licensor partners

Outstanding team collaboration is required in a fast paced, constantly changing retail environment. The position also requires strong analytical abilities, results-orientation, and networking skills, with responsibilities spanning across end-to-end business functions. Attention to detail and ability to empower will make you a key member of the team as you help us ensure we’re constantly improving.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a business related field

  • Proven account management skills with an insights-based approach to serve the needs of both the LEGO Group and the customer

  • Strong professional abilities including solid business acumen, collaboration, communication, team orientation and integrity

  • Ability to run multiple priorities working across several functions by leveraging strong planning and organizational skills leading to effective and timely execution

  • Self-motivated, creative and results driven

  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel required

  • Experience working with large US retailers a plus, specifically within a fast-moving consumer goods company

  • 3 to 5 years sales experience in consumer packaged goods is preferred

  • Experience in space planning software a plus

New Location Update

This position will initially be based at 501 Boylston St or 10 St. James Street in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $109,200 - $163,800 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
