Responsibilities

  • Provide support to end-users to solve end user computing issues and facilitate resolution of IT-related issues

  • Manage local hardware including installation, relocation, addition and changing. (PCs, thin clients, notebooks, printers, servers, etc.)

  • Maintain office infrastructure systems and facilitate software installation

  • Configure computer operating systems and applications

  • Monitor and maintain server room environment

  • Update hardware inventory and track usage

  • Follow all IT-related work instructions

  • Assist in preparation for external audits

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a distributed team environment

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and SLAs

  • Work well under pressure

  • Knowledge of end user computing technology with a minimum of 2 years IT experience

  • Background in troubleshooting network client/server issues

  • Experience with desktops, thin clients, and laptop hardware

  • Knowledge of active directory and group policies

  • General understanding of IT Service Management practices involving service request management, change management, asset management, incident management, and problem management
