This position is located in the Philadelphia office. However, the Intellectual Property department is fully remote.
Legal Support team members are vital to our clients. They provide innovative, on-time support to attorneys and paralegals and provide world-class service to our clients.

High school diploma
Some office and/or corporate experience in a law firm or professional services environment
Strong written and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Exceptional candidates will be trained
5 years’ docketing experience
Strong knowledge of foreign and domestic patent prosecution rules
Strong knowledge of IP docketing systems and business software
Prior patent prosecution docketing experience
What will your day look like?
The IP Docketing Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and docketing all incoming correspondence including USPTO correspondence as well as client and foreign correspondence. You will create, populate, and maintain electronic files. You will distribute correspondence via an electronic distribution interface to appropriate parties. You will process requests to transfer cases in and out of the firm, including updating its relevant database and coordinating with the records department in sending electronic files or work with outside counsel to receive electronic and physical files. You will also prepare and distribute a variety of reports and other duties as necessary.
