Adecco US, Inc. Inventory Planner in Boston, Massachusetts

Are you looking to take the next step in your inventory management career? Adecco is seeking a talented Inventory Planner to join our client's dynamic team in Boston, MA. We're looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, process oriented, and a fact based and analytical decision maker.

In this role you will complete inventory analysis and make key decisions that will drive opportunity and service levels while balancing risk with inventory ownership. This role will also heavily drive data analysis and propel reporting and data visualization forward for the Inventory Management team and our cross functional partners.

Are you a great fit?

  • Bachelor's or Higher Degree

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as inventory control, supply chain management, or procurement.

  • High proficiency in SAP and Excel, including data analysis and manipulation.

  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, with the ability to identify and correct stock level discrepancies.

  • Experience within the supply chain and product lifecycle management.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies preferred.

  • Experience working with licensed electronic vendors (eVendors) preferred.

  • Procurement or buying background preferred.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Manage the buy process and inventory management for a designated business segment, collaborating closely with the North American Inventory Team.

  • Execute the monthly buy process, including order placement and follow-up with factories regarding delays and customer requests.

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners to ensure order accuracy, coverage, and adherence to deadlines.

  • Continuously analyze inventory data and identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Partner with the Inventory Management team and cross-functional partners to develop and implement data governance strategies.

  • Create new reports and data visualizations to improve inventory management and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.85 per hour
