LogMeIn Internal Communications Manager, Digital Workplace in Boston, Massachusetts
Remote and hybrid work have changed the way we operate, and increased the need for organizations to focus on internal communications strategies to keep employees connected. As a remote-centric organization with a portfolio of remote work solutions, such as GoTo, LastPass, and Rescue, LogMeIn is leading from the front and looking for a communications professional to support IT communications and to own and improve the channels through which we communicate.
As a member of the Internal Communications team, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing the communication plan for LogMeIn’s Head of Digital Workplace, a team whose mission is to define the Future of Work at LogMeIn, fueling the effectiveness of employees, customers, and partners – from wherever they choose to work – through a simple, cohesive, productive, and delightful digital experience. In addition, you will partner with the Digital Workplace team to launch a new intranet and make it awesome.
Facilitate comms strategy for VP of digital workplace, including monthly all hands meetings, internal/external newsletters and coordination with PR team for media engagements.
Collaborate with Change Ops and execution teams to design and deliver strategic comms to support priority DW initiatives.
Support IT communications, including real time notification of outages and crises.
Partner with Digital Workplace, Human Resources and other stakeholders on Future of Work programming and communications.
Create channel strategy to augment and amplify company and functional goals, including managing the editorial calendar for the broader LogMeIn organization.
Manage and execute logistics for large-scale communication events, such as global all hands.
Analyze metrics and identify patterns, then make content suggestions and decisions based on improving metrics.
Significantly raise the bar on storytelling, framing/positioning, writing and editing and the use of new media to advance the story and increase visibility.
Skills & Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in the field of communication, marketing or technology
Strong English proficiency – spoken and written
Writing, creative, and visual experience including slide design
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and O365 suite
Project management skills and Microsoft O365 competence
A self-starter who has the ability to work inter-dependently in a fast-paced, ever evolving organization
Talent for effectively interacting and communicating with people at various levels of the company
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Problem solving skills
Hands on experience with content creation and delivery, including video, blogs, PowerPoint, town halls, digital displays, etc.
