World Congress seeks to grow its talented team of Sales professionals. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling and servicing the Attendee portion of our business by prospecting, calling leads, and selling attendees to our conferences to achieve a robust and targeted audience. Through an ambitious, creative and tenacious set of skills and attributes, this pivotal position helps grow revenue and provide critical market feedback by developing industry relationships and following our best practice processes.

Essential Job Function
Meet and exceed sales goals for securing individual attendees to WC conferences and developing and closing attendee groups
Cultivate senior level executive relationships with top-level companies in healthcare, life sciences, large employers, and legal sectors
Conduct prospect outreach through all mediums (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.) and position yourself as a resource to our customers
Sell a cross-section of all conference events applicable to the prospect
Have the ability to paint a picture of the educational and networking environment that is unique to our business and competitive conference model
Help to identify new topic areas as well as new executive-level thought leaders that can contribute to our agendas
Work in a team capacity with conference producer, marketing, and sponsorship sales, operations and customer service
Maintain a flow of new prospects and existing customer profiles through highly maintained note taking using the Company CRM system (Salesforce)
Maintain industry knowledge by keeping abreast of trends via seeking content on a routine basis and pushing content out to prospects and customers
Maintain active ?social selling? engagement through the strategic use of Twitter and LinkedIn, etc.,
Qualifications and Skills
Core selling skills including prospect qualification, sales cycle management, (both short and long-term), value proposition selling and closing
Consultative based selling
Ability to work in a competitive industry where strategic selling and relationship building is paramount
Ability to understand the competitive advantages of WC in comparison to top competitors
A desire to work closely with Sales Management on strategic selling and proposal development
Strong and articulate communicator and storyteller
Ability to read customer needs to overcome objections
Ability to help the prospect make the case of attending the conference to a secondary decision maker
Maintain excellent organizational skills
Manage multiple conference assignments and priorities to meet multiple deadlines
High energy, willingness to think creatively, problem solver
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Salesforce
Project management skills - excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlines
High energy and the ability to succeed amidst multiple deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree. Business degree or related curriculum preferred but not required. Experience: 3 or more years of sales or related customer engagement experience preferred.
