This job is eligible for a hybrid schedule with some on-site work expected. The individual is expected to reside in the 1st District unless you were given an exception.
Principle Accountabilities:
The HR Coordinator is an onboarding specialist who is responsible for ensuring timely execution and completion of a seamless workflow, including background verifications, for each new employee.
You will welcome newly hired employees and execute the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey; manage the end-to-end onboarding process, assist with orientation to ensure a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.
The coordinator will craft and send communication with information about the Bank, onboarding agenda, equipment handover, and similar items.
You will become a subject matter expert and makes recommendations on how to improve process efficiency.
You will engage with other members of the broader HR team, including payroll and benefits, to understand key processes related to successful employee experience.
Ensures compliance with all processes and always maintains a high level of confidentiality.
Supervision:
This position is not required to directly supervise others but may be asked to provide informal guidance to more junior team members.
Qualifications:
Successful candidate will have a high school diploma, applications will be accepted for those with Associates and Bachelor’s degrees. Prior exposure to and the demonstrated ability to thrive in an environment which requires customer service, attention to detail, and exemplary organizational skills is preferred.
Ability to work successfully and professionally with all levels of employees and management.
Ability to troubleshoot, identify improvements, and make simple decisions independently.
Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once.
Strong team player with a result driven approach and who can work with limited guidance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Suite.
Proficiency in HRIS Systems, such as Workday.
This position will be performed in an office setting and will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.
