JPMorgan Chase High Grade Credit Sales - Associate in Boston, Massachusetts
As an Associate in High Grade Credit Sales you will be responsible for partnering with a team of senior IG salespeople, helping to maintain and develop key investor client relationships. Responsibilities include backup coverage of existing IG credit relationships, covering day-to-day execution of all products, including but not limited to; primary and secondary corporate bonds, credit default swaps, credit indices, index options, index tranches and alternative/illiquid opportunities. It is expected you will become fluent and navigate in these products effectively among a broad range of clients (asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, corporations, hedge funds etc.) along with idea generation and market insight. In addition, you will bring a collaborative approach working with our business partners in trading, research and syndicate to provide comprehensive client coverage across the platform. The ideal candidate has a strong intellectual curiosity, a high degree of organization and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under high pressure situations with the appropriate degree of urgency.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Experience in sales, Series 7 & 63 license required
Team player, works well in small groups, partners well with principals of the platform including Research and Trading
Critical thinker with the goal to drive trade concepts and themes for investor clients
Understanding of fundamental product knowledge and market structure
Clear, logical thinker with strong qualitative skill set including effective communication and presentation
Strong proficiency in Bloomberg, MarketAxess, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
