A Day in the Life

Are you a dedicated and motivated professional interested in leveraging your program management skills to improve career development and leadership performance at Medtronic? We are looking for a Program Manager to execute the Medtronic Mission Medallion Program.

You will work in an environment of high change and have the capacity for success in a diverse, complex, and changing environment. You will work with a variety of partners and stakeholders to ensure that all Medtronic Employees receive their Mission Medallion through Mission Medallion Ceremonies or through the Mission Medallion Direct Shipment Process. Your work will support the execution of our global learning and leadership development strategy, and enable learning and talent strategies across the globe.

This position can reside in any US Medtronic office location or work remote.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of leadership development programming, including the Medtronic Mission & Medallion Ceremony program, a company-wide cultural event that has been in place since 1974

  • Partner with critical stakeholders to ensure timely execution of program activities, including event preparation and delivery (in-person and virtual), scheduling, and attendance tracking

  • Interact directly with the CEO, Executive Committee members, and their teams to prepare for event delivery

  • Manage budgets to forecast and track event costs, process internal transfers, and communicate with finance leaders across the company

  • Maintain messaging and design elements of program materials, including presentations, communication templates, packaging designs, videos, website, and stakeholder documentation

  • Manage data strategy and logistics to ensure accurate forecasting, tracking, and distribution of materials

  • Manage shipping distributions to employees and sites around the globe

  • Receive and respond to ongoing inquiries from employees, leaders, and vendors

  • Lead vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, execution of tasks, and processing of billing is maintained

  • Evaluate current state marketing and communication assets and routines

  • Lead the refresh of assets and routines in service of efficiency, reliability and opportunities for automation

  • Execute communications routines to market learning team resources to critical partners and learners

MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of Program Management experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Working knowledge of several areas including change management, project management, and global distribution processes

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including V- and X-Lookup functionality and data analytics and modeling

  • Experience in continuous improvement, specifically process automation

  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Confident presence interacting with Medtronic’s most senior executives

  • Proven track record of navigating and collaborating within a complex global organization

  • Process flow optimization and organizational change management expertise

  • Ability to establish credibility and relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Excellent client consulting and partnership skills

  • Strong organizational/prioritization skills – attention to detail

  • Visionary with strong execution capabilities

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$93,600.00 - $140,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
