Cervello Inc Global COE Lead, AI and Data Science in Boston, Massachusetts

Summary: 

As the Global COE Lead for AI and Data Science you will lead our Data Science COE as part of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Practice.  You will help to further define and develop Cervello’s methodologies, best-practices, standards, and service offerings in the areas of data analytics, data mining, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.  We are looking for a strong leader with a deep background in large Enterprises develop their AI and Data Science capabilities while leading programs and implementations of various sizes.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on building data science and artificial intelligence teams in a matrixed organization

  • 10+ years of experience leading project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment

  • 7+ years of prior project experience in leading complex data Science engagements across industries

  • Proven experience in building commercially viable offerings

  • Experience in working with strategic partners to drive revenue growth and joint marketing programs

  • Deep understanding and experience leading organizations and teams on data science strategy, implementation, change management, and operational processes

  • Experience working across leading data science platforms and with best of breed coding languages

  • Working knowledge of the best usage of various machine learning algorithms, statistics, and mathematics principles to employ when solving client problems

  • Deep knowledge of how AI and GEN AI can be applied in organizations and what is required to deliver solutions that can scale

  • Exceptional team building skills and not afraid to get into the weeds to help uplift teams

  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with exceptional client-facing

    Role Responsibilities:

    COE Strategy

  • Responsible for overall strategy of the COE and ensuring alignment with the broader company strategy

  • Collaborates with Cervello go-to-market and client teams to understand and support demands for COE services

  • Works closely with Client Account Leaders to drive account strategy and provide support on business development efforts

  • Aligns and partners with other practice and COE leads on cross-practice initiatives

    Thought Leadership & Go to Market

  • Proactively Identifies areas where demand is trending that would warrant new offerings to drive growth for the firm

  • Actively Identifies gaps and creates positioning for new offerings, solution accelerators, points of view, and IP

  • Work collaboratively with sales and account teams to drive marketing outreach plans to drive market awareness and pipeline development

    Project Delivery & Governance

  • Responsible for utilization of staff and ensures underutilized resources are engaged on GTM and / or firm building activities as needed

  • Serve in an advisory capacity on client engagements where needed

  • Creates best practices, methodologies, and frameworks that are readily available for team members to utilize as needed

    Employee Experience

  • Responsible for all aspects of our Attracting, Recruitment, Onboarding, Growth, and Retainment of team members within COE
