Microsoft Corporation Global Channel Sales - Scale-managed Partner Team Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

The Global Partner Solutions – Channel Sales team is looking for a leader to drive revenue and share growth through top unmanaged partner performance.
What do we need? We are looking for a talented team manager that has experience working with partners to scale their business on Microsoft’s multi cloud platform and driving end customer revenue and consumption growth.
Your team leadership will include ensuring your team set up for success to engage at all levels in the partner that they are assigned and can build trust through meaningful collaboration including sales and marketing strategies.
Deliver new sales team model focused on growth of unmanaged (Scale-managed) partners –contribute and optimize role definition and accountabilities.
Ensure team members achieve monthly sales forecasts or revenue goals. Review and provide feedback to team members on business metrics and performance data to optimize account performance and growth. Consolidate information across the team members to conduct high-level analyses.
Drive continuous team partner portfolio optimization as measured by revenue, pipeline, consumption, usage and partner impact.
Coach, challenge, and lead team members to develop effective go-to-market and co-selling strategies across accounts. Leverage internal resources and outline key activities and expectations to drive Microsoft and partner sales goals.
Coach team to:
Sell account vision to senior business decision makers at highly sought-after partners by aligning and reinforcing overall Microsoft value proposition and value propositions of products, channels, or solutions to the partner's business goals. Influences partners and business leaders to upsell Microsoft products and services.
Take advantage of internal solution area investments and programs to drive growth.
Use a variety of strategies to convey the value of partnering with Microsoft over competitors based on partner business. Combat competition throughout the selling and account management lifecycle.
Drive up-sell and cross-sell by working with partner’s sales and customer success teams.
Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years related experience (e.g., technology sales, business development, partner channel)
OR Master's Degree in related field (e.g., Marketing, Information Technology [IT] , Computer Science) and 6+ years related experience (e.g., technology sales, business development, partner channel)
OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years related experience (e.g., technology sales, business development, partner channel)
OR Master's Degree in related field (e.g., Marketing, Information Technology [IT], Computer Science) and 8+ years related experience (e.g., technology sales, business development, partner channel)
OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) people management/leadership experience.
7+ years’ experience in sales and partner management experience.

A self-starter that is has a clear understanding of how to get things done at Microsoft as a member of a cross-functional team. We will need you to utilize your ability to move initiatives forward by leveraging your problem-solving and collaboration skills.
A goal of deeply understanding Microsoft’ partner ecosystem and business models as part of your career development plan.
Effective multi-faceted communicator – writing, verbal (including public speaking) and PowerPoint. Key to your success will be translating complex ideas into plain English written communications and presentations.
You should enjoy working under pressure and deadlines and be comfortable with a range of projects – tactical to strategic – and enjoy a highly interactive environment.
Comfort with your ability to drive progress and clarity even with projects that are initially ambiguous.
