Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Note: This role is hybrid (2-3 days in office weekly) so you need to live in Boston Area.

Growing Tech/SaaS org in the Boston Area is continuing their high growth plans and needs to hire a hands-on Manager of FP& A.

The role will be a key Finance Partner to the business and corporate. You will get into the following areas, with a key focus on the budget and forecast initially.

• Develop a comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting systems within the organization and manage its deployment.

• Conduct rigorous analysis and modeling for financial planning purposes.

• Review current budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan, and modeling tools

• Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management

• Guide the forecasting of monthly financial and operational performance against strategic and budgetary goals

• Direct the preparation of all financial reports

• Conceptualize and create robust financial models to identify areas of opportunity and risk, and drive business decisions.

• Work closely with key business leaders to augment performance and profitability.

• Over the near term, assist in the selection and implementation of an analytical application.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• 6+ yrs exp

• Prior FP& A exp a must (budget, forecast, reporting/analytics/models)

• Must be a hands on person - no staff reporting into this role just yet

• Advanced Excel. Can help input an analytical tool.

• Tech / SaaS / Software experience.
