Foster Care Business Development Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our team as a Business Development/Marketing Representative. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, fostering community relationships, and implementing effective marketing strategies to recruit and retain foster parents.

The Business Development Representative will focus on State specific local marketing and brand awareness efforts. The Representative will raise community awareness of needs for children in foster care with the intent to generate inquiries. There will be an emphasis on in-person presentations and networking.

  • Responsible for actively raising community awareness of needs for children in foster care generating high-quality inquiries from individuals who are interested in becoming foster parents by leveraging a range of marketing strategies.

  • Generate inquiries for review with emphasis on in-person presentations and networking opportunities.

  • Develop a State-specific marketing plan in consultation with the Recruitment Manager, Director of Family Development and/or Marketing Manager that reflects the unique characteristics of each geographical area and considers the geographic priorities set by program leadership.

  • In collaboration with the Recruitment Manager, meet weekly to review calendar of scheduled meetings/events, etc, review data related on the effectiveness of specific marketing tactics to determine the best marketing strategy for a specific region/population, and adjust marketing plans regularly to leverage this data.

  • Recommend new and evolving strategies to continuously attract new mentor candidates.

  • Develop and deliver presentations to small and large audiences with the goal of inspiring and engaging the audience to action.

  • Understanding of our Services and be able to articulate clearly what our Service represents. Knowledge of what “Verticals” are, maintaining “Accounts” and how to develop your “Routes” in a specific catchment area according to priority and need.

  • Conducts presentations to promote public awareness of the need for foster families. Promote and access local media to keep this need visible within the community.

  • Refer all identified respective Mentor foster parents to the Family Recruitment Team as soon as the prospective candidate expresses interest in becoming a Mentor foster parent.

  • Manage marketing activities and inquiries in CRM Salesforce, record marketing activities and events, and update system records daily to track metrics, production and completion.

  • Performs other related duties and activities as assigned.

    Requirements:

  • Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field preferred

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, recruiting and/or business development

  • Proficient skills in CRM Salesforce

  • Ability to travel as needed

  • Valid driver's license in good standing and personal vehicle
