What will you do?

A challenging opportunity exists for a Finance Manager to play a key role providing finance support and business partnership to the North American CMD Function of Instrument Services. The role will require planning, analyzing, forecasting, budgeting, and business intelligence activities in support of the Product Lines’ goals and objectives.

  • Drive commercial budgeting, planning and forecast processes

  • Partner with functional leaders to provide reporting, forecasting and analysis on operating expenses and headcount

  • P&L owner of strategic product lines and partner across the business to drive investment spend and revenue & EBITA growth through the strategic plan period

  • Provide monthly variance analysis for Monthly/Quarterly Business Review packages, including Risks and Opportunities (R&O) Forecasts

  • Assist Senior FP&A Manager with all AOP deliverables

  • Ability to drive performance by highlighting the right metrics

  • Drive effective communication methods for appropriate audience

  • Proactively identify, develop, and implement improvements to existing reporting processes

  • Streamline routine analysis, identify improvement opportunities to automate

  • Implementation of risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans

  • Develops strong business partner relationships resulting in improved insights and results

  • Communicates questions and is prepared with data & analysis

  • Builds flexible capabilities to analyze business data and results

How will you get here?

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Minimum 6 years of related experience in financial and operational analysis, reporting and accounting leadership within a large, operating company

  • Outstanding analytical ability

  • Track record of consolidating financial results from multiple ERP platforms for the purpose of FP&A activities

  • Effective oral and written communication skills when dealing with all levels within an organization

  • Ability to communicate results and issues to impacted business units across the company in a timely manner

  • Comfort operating within matrix organizations

  • Global experience

  • Some travel may be required

  • Strong understanding of IT systems (particularly SAP and Hyperion / Essbase)
