Nike Finance Manager - Stores in Boston, Massachusetts


  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a business-related field with emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

  • 6+ years of experience managing operating budget, financial analysis, and/or P&L management showing growing progression of responsibilities.

  • Experience working in a fast paced, innovative Retail or consumer products business with understanding of key performance indicators a plus

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to develop the “story” and form recommendations

  • Proven ability to complete quantitative/qualitative analysis and financial modeling

  • Balance multiple, solution oriented priorities and maintain strong organization skills

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint / Keynote

  • Solution oriented, high energy self-starter who leads through ambiguity in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality

  • Self starter with a positive attitude and desire to drive operational results


We are looking for a Finance Manager Stores to join the North America Finance team. As the Finance Manager for our Stores business you will be a key member of the NA Stores leadership team, represent Converse’s key consumer focused initiatives and strategic priorities and be responsible for leading the overall financial performance of the Stores business. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of financial modeling, operational improvement, strong presentation skills, and the ability to lead complexity across the portfolio in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.


  • Lead monthly forecast, annual budget, and long-term strategic planning processes for the NA Direct-to-Consumer Stores business

  • Monitor monthly progress against key performance indicators and communicate results through monthly reporting, R&O analysis, and quarterly business reviews

  • Partner across the business to discover opportunities that drive sales and optimize margin

  • Perform data-driven analysis to edit or amplify the fleet and lead ongoing capital intensive real-estate investments

  • Provide Senior Management with recommendations and input on financial and key performance measurements that optimize short term goals and support critical initiatives

  • Standardize and improve processes and share the best standard practices that drive sustained improvements and useful results

  • Help stand up a new fleet of Concept doors that will connect and engage our Consumers across our physical retail portfolio

  • Identify areas of risk and opportunity and responsible for the integrity of the financial statements and compliance with US GAAP.


You will report to the Finance Director of North America Marketplace. This role will include heavy collaboration with the Stores Business team and North America Finance team ensuring alignment and transparency across the planning achievements. You will have exposure to North America and Finance Leadership throughout the key planning gates and through quarterly touch bases.
