Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Project Manager to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be tasked with supporting the development of Digital Business Operations. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity that requires an individual well-versed in change management, and possessing robust knowledge in both Accounting and Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial analysis projects with a focus on improving business processes

• Utilize your accounting knowledge to support various initiatives and tasks

• Leverage your experience in software capitalization, specifically in the SaaS industry

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with various departments such as Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Sales, etc.

• Navigate and thrive in fast-paced, unstructured environments

• Translate complex Finance/Accounting concepts into understandable business terms

• Use tools like SmartSheet for effective resource management

• Work independently, directly liaising with the Digital CFO. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Finance and Accounting role

• Proven experience in managing finance transformation projects

• Proficient in SaaS platforms related to finance and accounting

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting procedures and principles

• Proven track record in driving business process improvement

• Excellent leadership and project management skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, Master's degree preferred

• Detail oriented certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus

• Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
