CVS is recruiting for an Executive Director of Business Development, Sales Strategy & Partnerships to lead the development of strategic partnerships in the Healthcare Data and Analytics space and optimize the value of these partnerships, use market insights and field experience to support new product ideation and development, and support overall business development, driving new revenue channels.You'll make an impact by:• Leading end to end deal execution, including identifying, structuring, negotiating, and executing business development opportunities with 3rd party vendors and pharma • Driving business development of insights, analytics, data, solutions & services growth in pharma industry • Creating go to market strategy and manage business development opportunities and sales operations related to pharma and payor markets • Owning the sales strategy, plan, pipelining, and execution including identifying new channels, partnerships and direct to pharma/life sciences, including any sales KPI’s• Managing partnerships to drive maximize value creation (including partnership expansion down-stream; collaborate cross-functionally in the development of the partnership business plan, strategy, and goals • Perform ROI analysis, competitive analysis, track industry trends, and maintain extensive knowledge of market condition and build a strong external intelligence base on key market trends to help inform our decision making

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company’s business, as well as significant interaction with senior business leaders. The ideal candidate will have the following experience/knowledge:• 10+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, and/or strategic partnership development• 5+ years of experience in leading a business development, sales strategy or go-to-market team • Experience in identifying new revenue opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships to accomplish this, and sales with a proven track record in driving revenue; understanding the data, analytics and insights market is a requirement. • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry with a focus on the pharmaceutical and payor sectors commercializing data and insights solutions ranging from clinical, claims and pharmacy data. • Understanding how to use disparate data sets to offer high value insights to pharma and/or other stakeholders in the healthcare space including payors. • Extensive experience in sourcing, structuring, negotiating deals and managing partnerships to maximize value creation is needed. • Cross functional business perspective and can effectively engage cross functional teams including product, legal, and finance organizations to achieve goals, and will be action oriented and outcomes driven. • Leveraging an extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry to identify and structure revenue generating opportunities is required, with experience in end-to-end deal execution. • Understanding of the data, analytics and insights market • Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing revenue generating deals• Experience working in a matrix organization and cross corporate functions• Experience in end-to-end deal execution, including drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts• Understanding how to use disparate data sets to offer high value insights to key buyers (pharma and payors)• Broad exposure to multiple segments in the healthcare space including payor and life-sciences• Executive presence and experience building strong, collaborative relationships at senior levels within CVS and customer organizations
