Job summary

The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for an Executive Briefing Center Engagement Manager to join us in Boston, MA. In this role, you will work to create compelling experiences for partners and existing and prospective customers. You’ll create executive briefing agendas and record feedback for use internally and externally in marketing and product planning content. You’ll be key in relationship building with our most valued customers and partners. As an Executive Briefing Center Engagement Manager, you will design engaging meetings, create small hosted events and roundtables, build relationships with customers and partners, and help sales with introductions and information about interactions.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out a high volume of briefings that result in increased customer confidence and measurable opportunity development

  • Consult on objectives and outcomes through collaboration with account and partner teams

  • Design agendas for briefings with customers and partners visiting the Executive Briefing Center (EBC)

  • Identify and book subject matter experts

  • Manage prebriefing calls with the account teams and EBC speakers

  • Attend and facilitate EBC briefings to document feedback for delivery back into various teams like Products and Technology (PnT), Customer Experience, Sales, and Marketing teams

  • Interact with existing and prospective customers leading to content contribution for Red Hat’s properties, including enterprisers.com and redhat.com

  • Plan custom engagements with existing and prospective customers like C-level roundtables and dinners

  • Provide support to other executive engagement functions like the Strategic Advisory Board and Executive Exchange using best practices from EBC successes

  • Support day-of-schedule changes or changes in agenda direction as needed

  • Participate in EBC survey follow-up

  • Identify opportunities to creatively incorporate enhanced content or demos into briefings to further enhance the overall experience

  • Interact and collaborate with internal teams like the content, video production, and other creative teams to further enhance the experience in the EBC

  • Identify opportunities for new and exciting visual experiences

  • Build and create new content with the creative teams based on customer, partner, and market needs

  • Cultivate customer references from engagements as appropriate

Required skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business

  • Ability to work on your own and handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment

  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies while working in a high-tech environment

  • Solid project management experience, technical skills, public speaking skills, and a proven ability to identify, initiate, and guide projects and events to successful completion on deadline

  • Demonstrate ability to work cross-functionally, think critically, indirectly shape, problem-solve, and lead cross-organizational projects

  • Understanding of product and sales strategy; demonstrated ability and commitment to learn and apply knowledge quickly

  • Focused on highly professional interactions within the team and our supporters; accountable for interactions with others

  • Applied sense of urgency and ability to guide processes to achieve results

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to create and deliver targeted messages to senior level executives

  • Work well across organizational boundaries

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

  • Experience developing successful strategic briefing agendas of high-level complexity in a fast-paced EBC environment is a plus
