LogMeIn Executive Assistant in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description


As an Executive Assistant to Vice President, Sales Operations, and the Vice President, Global Channel Sales, you have the opportunity to support the Executives of two dynamic, fast-paced organizations. You will navigate between providing general executive support; providing executive logistics coordination and calendaring; and working independently with a strong sense of urgency all while maintaining confident information. Candidates with flexibility and an ability to multi-task, have poise in communicating internally with senior leadership and externally with business partners, and who display tact and good judgment are desired.


  • Establishes and maintains calendar and logistics for Executive’s critical operating mechanisms (e.g., 1:1s, team meetings, cross-functional meetings, events.)

  • Plans and executes logistical details for group onsite and offsite meetings in support of Executive’s priorities (e.g., business reviews, planning and leadership offsites, skill development offsites, etc.)

  • Meets regularly with Executive to maintain alignment on business priorities, update on status of projects, plan key events, provide insight into time commitments across priority areas, review upcoming travel, and prioritize open action items.

  • Schedule meetings, telephone conference and appointments; assists with preparing meeting agendas; arranges conference calls for Executive.

  • Assists Executive with preparation of reports and presentations, transcribe meeting notes and follows-up on meeting actions.

  • Creates and maintains reports, and other necessary documents in response to and in anticipation of Executive's needs.

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and recommends special projects and initiatives related to general business administration.

  • Collaborates closely with peers to support executive team activities and enhance the value of the EA role across LogMeIn.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5 – 7 years of progressive executive administrative experience and/or corporate communications at a quickly-scaling or large software company.

  • Familiarity with the software industry; ability to develop an understanding of the substance of business initiatives at LogMeIn.

  • Demonstrated empathy for executives and a desire to support them.

  • Self-starter with experience navigating complex organizations to achieve results.

  • Strong experience working in core productivity platforms (e.g., Office/ O365; G Suite).

  • Hands on experience supporting communications content creation, including video, blog and/or intranet posts, power point, etc.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in drafting reports and correspondence to a diverse audience.

  • Experience working with and building positive and productive relationships with a variety if people across a distributed global team.

  • Experience with project coordination and process optimization.

  • Flexible, forward-thinking, committed and passionate about his/her work.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Exercise sound judgement and maintain integrity and professionalism in communicating and working with highly confidential and sensitive information.

  • Spanish / Portuguese fluency strongly preferred.
