Amazon Executive Assistant, Corporate Development in Boston, Massachusetts

Description

Amazon's Corporate Development team is seeking an Executive Assistant ready to support three Directors in a fast-paced, high visibility role. The Corporate Development team is responsible for identifying, executing, managing and integrating Amazon’s mergers, acquisitions, and minority investments.

Experience leading and executing complex tasks and projects under tight deadlines will help you succeed in this role. You will have a strong sense of when to take action, even in instances of ambiguity, and be able to execute tasks with little to no direction, while balancing multiple critical requests with appropriate urgency and sound judgment.

You will also be highly detail-oriented and demonstrate sound oral and written communication while maintaining flexibility, composure, and posses a good sense of humor. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals both inside and outside the company is critical. A demonstrated history of working cross-functionally with other Executive Assistants will also be crucial to your success.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Effectively and proactively support 3 Directors, based in Seattle, Boston, and San Francisco.

-Complex calendar management and optimization

-Expense reimbursement

-Coordinate global schedules, travel arrangements, and seamless meeting logistics such as video conferencing and conference calls for internal and external meetings

-Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure the action required is addressed in a timely manner

-Event coordination, both internal and external

-Space management

-Catering and supply orders

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of executive assistant experience

  • Experience with executive level calendar management

  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading process improvements

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

  • Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

  • Bachelor's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
